ULE WINSOMIE RITGEN

Musical Background

Since a number of years Ule W. Ritgen has enjoyed a high international profile as a musician and songwriter. Awarded with gold discs and poll winning trophies, he is continuing a successful recording and touring life.

Starting out his professional career as a bassplayer for Uli Jon Roth´s ´Electric Sun`, he after 7 years and 3 albums moved on to co-found the highly acclaimed ´Zeno´ with Uli´s brother Zeno Roth. Here, for the first time, Ritgen could also utilize his songwriting skills.

When this cooperation came to a standstill in the early nineties, he decided – despite some interesting offers from named artists – to launch, together with some friends, his most personal endeavour to date – ´Fair Warning`.

Fair Warning have, besides numerous singles and compilations, so far released eight studio albums and five
live recordings, as well as four live-DVDs. Their latest live recording of two entire shows in Tokyo celebrating the 25th anniversary of their first Japan-tour, which includes four CDs and two DVDs was released in 2019 and is entitled ‘Two Nights To Remember’. On release it reached, as almost all its predecessors, the number-one position of Japans International Charts.
